I agree with Jim, you’ve mentioned a great tip. However, I would combine it with calls and maybe a bait (lures or scents), I think the hunting would be more effective this way.

Sorry Chris, but you are acutally exactly wrong. This policy is for the company owned stores. They reseased the following statement in regards to the policy.

“Buffalo Wild Wings respects the right of individuals to carry firearms. One of our top priorities is the comfort, safety and enjoyment of our Guests and we have elected to exercise our right to prohibit the carrying of firearms in our company-owned restaurants. We regret any inconvenience this may cause but believe that this long-standing position is in the best interest of our Guests and our Team Members. This position may vary in independently owned franchised locations.”

Whie it is true that you could go to franchise locations that do not follow this policy, but every franchise pays a franchise fee, so you would in fact be supporting the company just the same.

Next time do a little research before you call people overreacting douchebags.

You are absolutely right about BWW having every right to run their business the way they want. I think that the point you miss here is that everyone has the right to spend their money in establishments that choose. Weather or not this was a political statement is up for debate, but the fact that they have alienated a large segment of the population is not. I think it was a bad business move, political or not.
