Buffalo Wild Wings Bans Guns in Their Restaurants

Buffalo Wild Wings Anti Gun Policy Who doesn’t love wings? I know that Buffalo Wild Wingswas my favorite place to go get some food, play trivia, and watch some games. Well Buffalo Wild Wingsis showing that they are just another Anti 2nd Amendment company and for this reason they are added to our list of places we will no longer spend our money in. If you don’t believe in the Constitution of the United States of America then you do not deserve our business.

I have said this over and over and I am getting sick of saying it because I shouldn’t have to. We all need to stand up and fight for our rights as Americans. This is not a fight that we started but you can be damn sure that we will finish it. I understand that this is a private company and they can do whatever they feel like doing. Well it is on us to show them just how many of us there actually are. Now is not the time to back down from garbage policies like this, now is the time to stand up and fight back against them! Every time we hear about stuff like this we will make it our mission to expose them and we will make sure their business takes a hit.

F B-dubs, Quacker Steak has better wings anyhow.

  2. ohjesuschrist says:

BWW is a private business operating on private property. You have no second amendment rights on someone else’s property. Are they calling for all people to be disarmed everywhere? Or are they making a legal choice to ban who they want on their property? Isn’t that what conservatives support? Freedom of association?

    1. Did anyone say anything about them not having the right to have this policy on their property? No that was never said. If they choose to have this policy then we choose not to give them any of our money. If they choose to not allow their customers the chance to defend themselves if they needed to then we choose not to order their food. If they choose to broadcast to criminals that they are a gun free zone then we choose not to enter a place where our chances of being involved in a violent crime increase.

Why is that so hard for you to understand?

      1. ohjesuschrist says:

You called them “anti second amendment”.

The second amendment does not apply on private property.

Therefore, you are accusing them of trying to restrict people’s rights, when they aren’t. Because it doesn’t apply on their property. See how logic works?

Why is that so hard for you to understand?

    2. Silence Dogood says:

I most certainly do have second amendment rights EVERYWHERE I go. It’s just businesses like this that don’t understand the liability they are alking into when the store gets shot up and an unarmed person who would otherwise be armed gets injured.
Furthermore, Buffalo Wild Wings seldom ever buys property, they lease it, so domicile issues arise as well.
This knee jerk BS is gonna come home to roost sooner rather than later when a company gets their assets sued off over a feel good sign.

      1. Chris says:

You effing idiots! Did anyone bother to look into the truth behind this? This is not a company policy, it’s something that one store owner did. It’s probably a good thing that you backwoods gomers won’t be in B-Dubs. What a bunch of overreacting douchebags!!

        1. Chris even if it was only one store they still represent the entire company.

          1. Chris says:

No they do not. Most Buffalo Wild Wings stores are franchised, not corporate owned. Some franchisees own 8-10 stores. This is apparently the case with this incident. Seriously, what the hell happened to common sense in this country? We all know that EVERYTHING on the internet is true! LOL!!

          2. Chris says:

FYI… Buffalo Wild Wings is not the only franchise which concealed carry permit holders problems, according to the Virginia Citizens Defense League. T.G.I. Fridays also reportedly has a no guns allowed policy chain-wide. So how about we boycott TGIF too?

          3. Chris, so if a bunch of women walked into a Buffalo Wild Wings and the manager said, “sorry ladies but we no longer serve women at this location’ do you really think it wouldn’t reflect badly on the entire company? You just want to argue because you are one of the anti-gun idiots out there that can’t except the fact that their position is wrong.

        2. Fred says:

F you have fun protecting yourself pussy

        3. Mike says:

Sorry Chris, but you are acutally exactly wrong. This policy is for the company owned stores. They reseased the following statement in regards to the policy.

“Buffalo Wild Wings respects the right of individuals to carry firearms. One of our top priorities is the comfort, safety and enjoyment of our Guests and we have elected to exercise our right to prohibit the carrying of firearms in our company-owned restaurants. We regret any inconvenience this may cause but believe that this long-standing position is in the best interest of our Guests and our Team Members. This position may vary in independently owned franchised locations.”

Whie it is true that you could go to franchise locations that do not follow this policy, but every franchise pays a franchise fee, so you would in fact be supporting the company just the same.

Next time do a little research before you call people overreacting douchebags.

    3. Gary McBride says:

We agree this is there right but it is our right not to go to a place that disarm us and make us unsafe – watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1u0Byq5Qis

    4. Mike says:

You are absolutely right about BWW having every right to run their business the way they want. I think that the point you miss here is that everyone has the right to spend their money in establishments that choose. Weather or not this was a political statement is up for debate, but the fact that they have alienated a large segment of the population is not. I think it was a bad business move, political or not.

  3. WontstickinTexas says:

Must be 30.06 or 51% to be compliant in Texas. Otherwise it is a sign to be ignored or their way of telling me they don’t want my business.

    1. Gary McBride says:

That is half true for Texas but Texas also says that u can not carry on private property if the owner has posted a no carry sign

      1. John says:

        Gary

Just so all are clear, in Texas there are specific rule for posting for a private business. The sign that this BWW store has is not sufficient for Texas as an example. For the sign to be valid in Texas is MUST meet the 30.06 posting requirements. (see http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/PE/htm/PE.30.htm#30.06)

Just posting a sign on your store front in Texas that says no guns allowed (like the one on this BWW store) does not have to be obeyed.

        John

  4. Richard says:

“Gun free zones”, Dick’s Sporting Goods (for stopping the sale of fireams), Wal-Mart (for suspending ammunition orders) and any other business that forbids legal carry on their property or acts in a cowardly fashion such cowardly businesses as Dick’s and Wally-world don’t deserve our business. Boycott them. Vote with your wallets.

    1. Jon says:

Walmart didn’t suspend orders…that’s an internet based lie. There is a nationwide shortage that began the beginning of last year when DHS started their massive ordering of ammunition. That is the same reason why primers are difficult to come by, and have been since March, 2012.

Walmart makes ammo orders months in advance for their company, based on industry trends…There is no way that Walmart, the worlds largest retailer of ammo, would ever shoot their bottom line in the rump like that.

  5. Kevin says:

Won’t be eating here any more…..

  6. Jon says:

Guess who won’t be getting any more of my money??

  7. Jane Savitts says:

Shut um down, shut um down Shut them down!!!

  8. Sean says:

Boycotting may put a small dent in their bottom line, but filling the place to capacity and having everyone slowly drink one beer over the course of two hours will do more to hurt the borrow line if they aren’t selling find to a packed house.

    1. Bryan says:

This is a better idea…everyone go in and sip a soda for an entire football game.

  9. matt says:

Who cares about all the law a dick measurment talk. A sign wont stop someone from walking into an establishment and shooting the place up. I know what would stop him, someone shooting back at him. Yet, I know this sounds like the wild west but atleast it was fair.
Where can I find a list of restaurants that ban guns?

  10. Paul Easter says:

“He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.” – Luke 22:36

  11. stewart says:

It is their right not to allow firearms on their premesis and it is our choice not to patronize their place of business. I bet if someone started a shooting in hteir store then they would be glad to have one of ou egghead gun freaks there to try and save them.

    1. Fred says:

Gun freaks? Who protects your streets? Your rights? People like me and others that choose to becoming lawfully fully licensed to carry. WHile you are laying on the ground crying or bleeding “we” would be the ones stopping the shooter lawfully and quickly and then tending to your wounds.—-

You all need to check us out. We are dedicated to identifying and exposing all 2A violators and organizing a full boycott.

    Please visit, like, share, etc.

As for BWW, we have contacted corporate to ask about a policy clarification from them because we have seen these signs, but are not sure if this is a franchisee sign, corporate policy, legal requirement, etc.

  13. george says:

BWW is considered a BAR therefore by many state laws u can not carry a concealed weapon inside…and frankly I agree drunk people and guns don’t mix….oh yes I have a ccl and I am military so don’t preach rights

  14. TexasArmed says:

I carry a Texas CHL and in Texas I only have to recognize a 51% sign or a 30.06 sigh. So instead of eating chicken or buffalo wings at this establishment I will do the patriotic thing and buy my chicken at a Chinese restaurant or drive thru where there is not a no gun sign.
